Cheap Chianti.  Those words are like sweet music to my ears.  …this east coast weather is for the birds though.   I did have a 6 mile run tonight but with all of the rain I decided to skip the possible pneumonia.  So another quiet evening at home.  Since I didn’t burn 1000 odd number calories this evening I kept the dinner quick and light.  Trader Joes has a great pre-made fried rice mix with veggies and paired it with said Chianti

Similar to Grifone’s Toscana I had a few nights ago Grifone’s Chianti Reserva – another Sangiovese blend is a jammy red wine with an allspice and oak palate.  Sporting a cloudy ruby red hue, and sour cherry nose I found this wine dry and flabby but smooth.  Pair with vegetable fried rice and Hulu Plus on your smartphone.
