Bin 50 On A First Name BasisCiao Amichi,
Long time no hear. Sorry I’ve been gone so long. I’ve been working and shopping like crazy, so first and formost let me share with you some fruits of me and the babe’s labor:
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!…and we haven’t quite finished decorating. You wouldn’t believe it but a few days earlier I was considering not decorating at all for Christmas. Thank goodness I finally came around. The holidays are all about eating and drinking and there’s been no lack of either in my household. Today my lover baked me mouth-watering pizza that I paired with a Bin 50 Shiraz…mainly because that was the only red in a house now full of Chardonnays. ..No worries there, Friday I’m restocking!
Name: Bin 50
Country: United States
Where Purchased: LCBO
Lindemans’s Bin 50 is a full-bodied ruby red wine with medium sugar, fruit, and low tannin, and acid. Bin 50 is a chewy red that I like to serve slightly chilled (throw in the fridge for 20 – 30 minutes). This wine should be enjoyed by most. Moscatto drinkers may want to pass on this. It’s also quite pricey for a table red. I (a lover of red wine) really enjoyed this wine with my pizza but would love this wine just as an aspertif as well. Give it a try and leave me a comment and let me know if you enjoyed this wine.

Wine Tip: Swirling your wine around in the glass a few times before drinking it allows more oxygen to enter the glass and allows the wine to breath and settle.
